About the Role The Local Delivery Driver will deliver products to customers, making an average of 10-12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. You will count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up, and you will conduct hazardous materials shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations. What You'll Do
- Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazardous material shipping orders/papers in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals
- Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization grow What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English
- Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, with a valid Class A CDL
- You must be 21 years or older
- Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain within 60 days of hire
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $24.17 - $35.46 hourly (depending on experience)
