About the Role Linde Local Delivery Driver (CDL A) based in Rice, MN delivers products to customers, touching freight, and handling paperwork while providing excellent service; you’ll learn how Linde’s business operates and grows. What You'll Do
- Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
- Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
- Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct and report pre-trip inspections.
- Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
- Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer needs.
- Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates to help organization grow. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English.
- Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, with a valid Class A or B CDL.
- You must be 21 years or older.
- Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire.
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $21.00 - $29.00 hourly (commensurate with experience).
