About the Role Delivery driver responsible for delivering products to customers in Allentown, PA, while handling freight, completing paperwork, and delivering excellent customer service. The role includes DOT/hazmat compliance, vehicle inspections, and working with internal and external customers to meet business goals. What You'll Do
- Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
- Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
- Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Identify the need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
- Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs.
- Continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English.
- Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, with a valid Class A CDL.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire.
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years.
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Compensation & Benefits
