About the Role Local Delivery Driver (CDL A) based in Tualatin, OR. You will deliver products to customers, handle freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service while complying with DOT and hazmat requirements. What You'll Do
- Deliver products to customers, averaging 10-12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and delivering excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs
- Continuously build your knowledge of how Linde’s business operates and grows to support the organization What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English
- Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, plus a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years or older
- Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain within 60 days of hire
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds Nice to Have Compensation & Benefits
