About the Role We are seeking a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A) to deliver products to customers in Sacramento, CA, averaging 10-12 stops per day. You’ll touch freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring accurate counts and compliance with DOT hazmat/shipping requirements.
What You'll Do
- Deliver products to customer sites with an average of 10-12 stops per day, touching freight and providing excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazmat shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations and maintain compliance
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; identify and report maintenance needs
- Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals
- Continuously expand knowledge of Linde’s operations to support growth
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED; proficient in reading and writing in English
- 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification
- Valid Class A CDL; hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
- Must be 21 years or older
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
- Able to pass DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 75 pounds
