Job title: LNA | Telemetry | Full Time | Nights
About the Role Under the direction of the Director and/or Nurse Manager, the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides direct and indirect patient care for a group of patients in the Telemetry unit, under RN supervision. This role supports patients with varying levels of care needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform activities of daily living and personal care needs under RN guidance.
- Perform technical skills/procedures related to physical, mental health, and social needs under RN guidance.
- Document care provided and report observations to the RN.
- Demonstrate adherence to safe patient handling policies and maintain clean, safe patient care areas.
- Demonstrate time management skills.
- Receive delegated work adhering to the five rights of delegation.
- Perform job-specific duties and other duties as assigned.
- Serve as a preceptor for new employees.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; required: Proof of LNA Education Certificate and Final Report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing (as required by NH Board of Nursing).
- Certification, Registration & Licensure: Current NH LNA license; BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) or equivalent.
- Experience: Evidence of the ability to work as part of a team.
