Job title: LNA | Telemetry | Full Time | Day/Night Rotation
About the Role Under the direction of the Director and/or Nurse Manager, the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides direct and indirect patient care duties for a group of patients on the Telemetry unit, under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role supports safe, compassionate care for patients with varying needs in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform activities of daily living and personal care needs under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Perform technical skills/procedures related to physical, mental health and social needs under the guidance and supervision of the RN.
- Document care provided and report observations of patient’s physical, social and mental status and basic patient data collected to the RN.
- Demonstrate adherence to safe patient handling policy and effective time management.
- Maintain patient care areas to ensure cleanliness, safety and availability of supplies.
- Receive delegated work adhering to the five rights of delegation.
- Perform job-specific requirements and other duties as assigned.
- Serve as a preceptor for new employees.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. Required: Proof of LNA Education Certificate and Final Report of Written and Clinical Competency Testing Results (as required by the NH Board of Nursing).
- Certification, Registration & Licensure: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, or equivalent credentialed by AHA. Current New Hampshire State LNA license.
- Experience: Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team.
