Role Summary
- The LMP Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of LMP equipment during field operations.
- The role involves operating and monitoring the LMP unit, supporting rig-up and rig-down activities, handling operational fluids and equipment, and ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures, job programs and HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Operate LMP units and associated equipment during field operations.

Carry out pre-job inspections and equipment readiness checks.

Assist with rig-up, pressure testing and rig-down of LMP equipment.

Monitor equipment performance, pressure, flow rates, volumes and other operational parameters.

Support the preparation, handling and transfer of treatment fluids and chemicals.

Follow approved operational procedures and instructions from the LMP Supervisor.

Monitor equipment for abnormal conditions and promptly report faults or operational issues.

Assist with routine maintenance, cleaning and basic troubleshooting of LMP equipment.

Maintain proper housekeeping around the work area and equipment.

Accurately complete equipment checklists, operational logs and job documentation.

Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings and pre-job meetings.

Comply with Company, client and site-specific HSE requirements at all times.

Immediately report incidents, near misses, spills, unsafe conditions and equipment defects.

Support mobilization and demobilization of equipment to and from work locations.

Work effectively with the LMP Supervisor, field engineers, Pumpmen and other members of the operations team.

Requirements
- OND / NCE / HND in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline is an advantage.
- 2–3 years’ experience in LMP operations, well services, pumping services or a related oilfield operation.
- Practical experience operating oilfield pumping or pressure-related equipment.
- Basic understanding of fluid handling, pressure systems and wellsite operations.
- Good mechanical and technical aptitude.
- Strong awareness of HSE procedures and safe working practices.
- Ability to read and follow operational procedures and equipment instructions.
- Good teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on field locations and rotational schedules.
