Job title: Living and Leisure Mentor
About the Role The Living and Leisure Mentor supports VUnited Scholars with independent living skills and social integration. The role involves guiding daily living tasks (laundry, room cleaning), conflict resolution and social facilitation, and helping Scholars engage socially and academically in the evenings. The mentor provides 1-2 weekly on-duty evenings and weekend supervision for the VUnited Scholars program, with on-duty supervision in St. Mary's Hall and across campus.
What You'll Do
- 60% INDEPENDENT LIVING GUIDANCE: Weekly On-Duty evenings from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM in St. Mary’s Hall or location where majority of VUnited Scholars are present.
- On-Duty weekends to on-campus and off-campus extracurricular activities.
- On campus Living Advisor. Offers support with laundry, room cleanliness, room organization.
