Job Summary

• We are seeking a responsible, hardworking, and well-mannered Male Live-In Housekeeper to provide general housekeeping and laundry services in a private residence in Maitama, Abuja.
• The ideal candidate should be neat, organized, respectful, trustworthy, and able to work independently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the home.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping:

• Clean and maintain all assigned areas of the residence.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, and other household spaces.
• Make beds, change bed linens, and keep rooms neat and well organized.
• Clean windows, doors, furniture, appliances, and other household items as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas where necessary.
• Ensure cleaning materials and household supplies are properly stored.
• Report damaged items, maintenance issues, or items requiring attention.

Laundry:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and properly arrange clothes and household linens.
• Handle different fabrics and clothing materials with appropriate care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Ensure clothes are properly folded or hung and returned to their designated places.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a housekeeper, cleaner, laundry attendant, or in a similar domestic role.
• Good knowledge of general housekeeping and laundry procedures.
• Must be neat, hygienic, hardworking, and physically fit.
• Must be respectful, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality within a private household.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• References from previous employers will be an advantage.
