Aligned Talent Acquisition is partnering with a nationally recognized Am Law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Staff Attorney to join its established Litigation practice in Chicago, IL.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys complex litigation, substantive legal work, and collaborating with experienced litigators on sophisticated matters in state and federal courts.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of litigation experience, including substantive involvement in complex litigation matters.

• Experience drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.

• Experience managing or assisting with complex discovery in large-scale litigation.

• Experience preparing for and participating in depositions and court appearances.

• Federal court litigation experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• The firm's established Litigation practice handles sophisticated disputes and complex litigation matters. Attorneys will have opportunities to:

• Draft and prepare pleadings, dispositive motions, and substantive litigation documents.

• Assist with managing complex discovery in large cases.

• Prepare for and participate in depositions and court proceedings.

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.

• Collaborate with experienced litigation attorneys on sophisticated matters.

• Take on meaningful responsibility throughout various phases of litigation.
