As a Litigation Paralegal, you will partner closely with attorneys throughout every stage of the litigation process, from case inception through arbitration. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and wants to make a meaningful impact on significant construction matters. Experience with construction litigation and arbitrations is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with attorneys to manage litigation and arbitration matters from inception through trial, hearing, and appeal.
  • Provide hands-on trial and hearing support using litigation presentation software such as OnCue.
  • Coordinate case strategy by managing calendars, court filings, deadlines, and procedural requirements.
  • Draft and prepare routine pleadings, subpoenas, deposition notices, and other litigation documents.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files to ensure seamless case management.
  • Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw and other industry-leading research tools.
  • Support discovery efforts, including document review, productions, redactions, Bates labeling, and exhibit management.
  • Analyze, organize, and summarize key case materials to support litigation strategy.
  • Coordinate depositions, witnesses, and trial logistics with attorneys, clients, experts, and vendors.
  • Manage eDiscovery workflows, including ESI protocols, Relativity review databases, and productions.
  • Maintain Opus 2 databases, deposition transcripts, exhibits, and designation records.
  • Build strong working relationships through professional communication with clients, attorneys, court personnel, and vendors.
  • Successfully manage multiple high-priority matters in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate, or degree in Paralegal Studies preferred.

  • Five or more years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally supporting complex commercial or construction-related matters.

  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and case management practices.

  • Experience supporting matters through all phases of litigation, arbitration, and trial preparation.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, proofreading, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to support client demands, hearings, and trial schedules.
