Job title: Litigation Associate
About the Role The Atlanta office of Squire Patton Boggs is seeking a Litigation Associate with experience in commercial and product liability and/or class action defense to work in a dynamic, exciting, and cutting-edge environment defending class actions on behalf of multi-national companies in different jurisdictions across the world.
What You'll Do
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Manage discovery and coordinate with local counsel
- Defend against litigation and advise on strategy for commercial, product liability, and class actions
- Prioritize workload, demonstrate sound judgment, and work under pressure
- Excellent research and organizational skills; strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Courtroom and deposition experience where applicable (preferred but not required)
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience
- Admission to the Georgia Bar; JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
- Experience in commercial and product liability and/or defending high-stakes class actions (preferred) is required
- Excellent research and organizational skills; strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-starter who can manage workload under pressure
Nice to Have
- Courtroom and deposition experience (preferred)
