Litigation Associate
We are looking for a litigation attorney to join a growing boutique law practice in White Plains, New York. Responsibilities

Oversee a diverse docket involving estate and trust disputes, guardianship proceedings, personal injury claims, and other litigation matters from intake through resolution.

Draft, revise, and submit litigation documents such as pleadings, motion papers, petitions, briefs, discovery requests, and written responses.

Represent clients in hearings, court appearances, conferences, depositions, and case-related meetings with professionalism and preparation.

Partner with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to coordinate strategy, manage workflow, and advance matters efficiently.

Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, gather information, and address questions throughout the life of each case.

Perform legal research and translate findings into practical case strategies and well-supported written advocacy.

Track filing dates, court deadlines, and procedural obligations to help ensure matters remain on schedule and in compliance.

Contribute to the continued development of the practice by taking initiative, supporting team goals, and helping strengthen client service.

Prepare legal correspondence, internal memoranda, and other written materials needed to support case progress and client representation.

Admission to the New York Bar in good standing; Connecticut admission is a plus / willingness to waive in.

At least 1 year of relevant legal experience, with consideration given to attorneys at an entry level who have a strong interest in these practice areas.

Working knowledge of civil litigation, including drafting motions, briefing matters, and handling discovery-related tasks.

Strong legal writing, analytical reasoning, and research capabilities.

Ability to manage assignments with a high degree of ownership while collaborating effectively with a broader legal team.

Clear and attentive communication skills when interacting with clients, courts, and colleagues.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and commonly used legal practice technology.
