About the Role Squire Patton Boggs is seeking a junior to mid-level Litigation Associate for its Cleveland office. The role involves handling most aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, legal research, arguing hearings, managing discovery requests and responses, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trial preparations and trial. Experience in healthcare/managed care litigation is a plus but not required.
What You'll Do
- Draft pleadings and motions; perform legal research; prepare for hearings and trials
- Argue hearings and manage discovery requests and responses
- Take and defend depositions; coordinate with local counsel as needed
- Assist with trial preparations and trial strategy
- Manage multiple matters with strong organization and prioritization
What We're Looking For
- 2-6 years of experience at a top-tier firm and/or judicial clerkship
