Location

Join our team in Kansas City, Missouri, in a full-time, on-site position. You'll work closely with accomplished attorneys in a collaborative office environment where you can sharpen your skills and make a real impact. Compensation starts at $120,000, with additional earning potential based on experience.

Note We're seeking attorneys with civil litigation experience, strong legal research and writing skills, and a willingness to work on-site in Kansas City. Candidates with 1+ year of relevant litigation experience are encouraged to apply, with 2+ years preferred. Missouri and/or Kansas bar admission is strongly desired.

Job Description

• Manage and support complex civil and commercial litigation matters from initial investigation through resolution.
• Draft compelling motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Handle discovery, including document review, written discovery, and deposition preparation.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and appellate matters.
• Work directly with clients, providing thoughtful legal guidance and practical solutions.
• Collaborate with experienced litigators on employment, insurance, business, and other civil disputes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• 1+ year of civil litigation experience; 2+ years preferred.

• Active Missouri or Kansas bar admission preferred; dual licensure is a plus.

• Experience with discovery, legal research, and drafting litigation documents.

• Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative legal team.
