Job title: Liquid Receiving Operator

About the Role Liquid Receiving Operator to join the Production team in Rochester, MN. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient receiving, pasteurization, and transfer of liquid raw materials while ensuring quality, food safety, and operational standards.

What You'll Do

  • Receive and pasteurize liquid raw materials in accordance with production schedules.
  • Perform CIP on silos and line circuits.
  • Operate and monitor pasteurizers, evaporators, and CIP systems.
  • Maintain required documentation, including pasteurizer chart records (MDA compliance).
  • Split fermentation media and execute sanitary transfers to silos and fermentation vessels.
  • Run evaporators to precise specifications (density, temperature, flow rate, and vacuum).
  • Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues; collaborate with maintenance as needed.
  • Oversee and document incoming and outgoing raw material trucks.
  • Maintain continuous communication with Quality on processes, fermentations, and adjustments.
  • Complete daily production logs and communication reports.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and food safety standards.
  • Maintain housekeeping and sanitation across assigned work areas.
  • Work across multiple plant areas including receiving, control room, truck bay, flow plate, and silos.
  • Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, SAP, iFix, or similar systems).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production demands.
  • Comfortable working in a high-paced environment with multiple processes running simultaneously.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in food or beverage manufacturing is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour (USD). Overtime eligible.
  • Full benefits starting the first day of the month after you start; medical, dental, vision, PTO, and more.

  • 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend having three days off.
