About the Role Liquid Cooling Data Center Principal Engineer at Chemours Discovery Hub in Newark, DE leads two-phase liquid cooling initiatives for data centers and other thermal management applications. Focused on immersion cooling and direct-for-chip technologies, the role partners with customers, partners and internal teams to deliver market-driven innovations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead projects and activities related to two-phase liquid cooling in data centers and other applications to meet strategic growth objectives.
  • Design and lead execution of experiments in a lab environment and field trials for data center cooling.
  • Develop, collaborate and maintain relationships with value chain partners, end-users, academia/universities, national labs and industry organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization, customers and partners.
  • Maintain knowledge or desire to learn fluorochemical science and related application technologies.
  • Travel 10-25% of time to customers and partners.

What We're Looking For

  • BS. Mechanical, Computer or Electrical Engineering or Materials Science with at least 5 years (10+ years preferred) of relevant work experience in data center cooling technologies, preferably liquid cooling technologies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of data center operations and liquid cooling for data centers.
  • Good interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to work well with all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with high degree of initiative, independence and self-motivation with flexibility to monitor and move projects forward quickly and safely.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge or interest in fluorochemical science and related application technologies (mentioned as desired).
  • Software programming skills are valuable but not required.
