YOUR TASKS

Job Responsibilities for Line Technician Position

• Maintenance and Repair: Conducts regular systematic inspections of all equipment and systems to ensure they are in proper working condition. Performs necessary repairs or communicates the need for more advanced repairs to management.
• Installation: Assists in the installation and setup of new production lines, ensuring that all components are properly connected and functioning optimally.
• Compliance: Ensures all line equipment and processes comply with safety regulations and operational standards. This includes regular maintenance checks, prompt repair of faulty equipment, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Communication: Works closely with other technical service teams to ensure efficient performance across all production lines. Reports directly to the Production Manager about operational updates or any equipment issues.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoots and identifies solutions for any equipment or line operation issues. Escalates any complex problems to the relevant stakeholders.
• Inventory Management: Manages line equipment stock, places and oversees orders for new tools when needed, and implements efficient storage solutions.
• Documentation: Keeps detailed records of all line inspections, repairs, installations, and equipment purchases.
• Training: Regularly updates professional knowledge and skills in line maintenance. May also be asked to train new team members.
• Quality Control: Monitors product output to ensure it meets quality standards and identifies any opportunities for improvements to existing procedures.
• Emergency Response: Responds quickly to emergency situations or breakdowns, aiming to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of all staff.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Job Qualifications for Line Technician Position

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (technical field preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment as a technician.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Problem Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to troubleshoot technical issues on production lines.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
• Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail in order to detect any issues with equipment or product output.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts.
