Job title: Line PM Leader
About the Role The Line PM Leader is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Maintenance Work Planning & Scheduling, Breakdown Elimination, and Defect Handling DMS for their line or area, and to provide a continuity link to other PM systems. As a member of the site PM Pillar Team, you will ensure efficient execution of maintenance systems, reduce stops, and build team capability and safety-minded quality through IWS tools and methodologies.
What You'll Do
- Review and prioritize notifications within 24 hours of generation.
- Plan & schedule maintenance work using SIMPTWW; maintain a current work order backlog; archive job plans.
- Lead daily and Weekly Planning Meetings; adjust plans based on schedule, completion, and break in work.
- Develop and update annual maintenance plan; ensure Maintenance Technical Documentation is current.
- Analyze failures to eliminate repeat breakdowns; complete PM Cards and Dice Charts; initiate planned inspections; perform in-depth failure analysis per site standards.
- Establish the team necessary to complete failure analysis; compare failed parts with new parts; drive improvements to AM CILs, standards, procedures, and spares inventory.
- Track and report maintenance indicators and in-process measures; share results with department leadership in weekly meetings.
- Champion continuous improvement; ensure change proposals follow Change Management; maintain accurate documentation and drawings; coach team on IWS methodologies.
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational, technical, and prioritization skills; effective communication and training.
- 5-10 years' experience in planning and executing maintenance in manufacturing/warehousing; mechanical maintenance activities.
- Proficiency with SAP Maintenance and store room operations; basic PC skills; knowledge of AM and PM standards.
- 80% time on the floor coaching and capability-building; 20% on technical analysis and action planning.
- Self-starter with leadership capability and the ability to communicate with teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with IWS methodologies and Kaizen; familiarity with PM01/PM03 and Change Management processes.
- Experience updating engineering drawings and standards; knowledge of spares, obsolescence, and stocking.
