Job title: Line Attendant
About the Role NationsBenefits is seeking a Line Attendant to join the NationsMarket health solution team to produce quality food products for our Members. The ideal candidate is a team player with high energy and a positive attitude, and must be able to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions. This role may rotate across product lines and facilities as needed.
What You'll Do
- Produce quality food products under sanitary conditions in an efficient, timely manner.
- Unpack raw materials; mix ingredients; assemble products; and pack finished goods.
- Ensure all products meet company and government quality standards; inspect products and reject or repair as needed; record waste as directed.
- Notify lead or production supervisor of substandard quality issues, ingredient/material problems, and/or equipment malfunctions.
- Rotate duties across product lines and facilities; maintain a straight product flow along conveyors.
- Obtain labels from warehouse, code as directed, re-box, and apply proper labels on products.
- Assist with training of new line attendants to ensure production processes flow according to standards.
- Clean and organize the work area; assist in other lines or facilities when needed.
- Perform duties in compliance with USDA, OSHA, GMPs, and other regulations; use required PPE.
- Conduct yourself and supervise subordinates in a manner consistent with the company mission, values, and policies.
What We're Looking For
- 0-1 years of related experience.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling.
- Basic math skills, including subtraction of two-digit numbers and multiplication/division with 10s and 100s.
- Works quickly and efficiently with hands; can operate as part of a team and interact professionally with coworkers.
