About the Role
RAPP is seeking a Lighting Designer for the Kuala Lumpur area to support advertising and creative technology initiatives. This role focuses on crafting lighting concepts for brand experiences and performances in collaboration with partners.
What You'll Do

Develop lighting concepts and technical schemes for live environments and media installations

Create detailed lighting drawings, specifications, and playlists

Collaborate with creative teams, engineers, and production crews to execute designs

Manage project timelines and coordinate with suppliers and venues

What We're Looking For

Experience in lighting design, preferably in events, architecture, or experiential campaigns

Proficiency with lighting design software and control systems; ability to read and produce technical drawings

Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments

Degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Theatre, or related field

Nice to Have

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Arup, agencies)

Knowledge of DMX/lighting controls and sustainability considerations

International or multi-site project experience
