About the Role We are expanding our Light Commercial Vehicle workshop team at AB Volvo in Bellshill. You will be joining a close-knit team including a Workshop Controller, two Technicians and an Apprentice, supporting EV and ICE vans with the latest tools and technology to deliver high-quality service. What You'll Do
- Carry out high-quality servicing and repairs across a range of vehicles, including electric (EV) and internal combustion engine (ICE) vans
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines What We're Looking For
- A skilled and experienced technician with a background in servicing, repairing, and maintaining vans in a commercial vehicle environment
- Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; take initiative and thrive as part of a team
- Full, valid UK driving licence; HGV licence would be an advantage or willingness to work towards with support Nice to Have
- HGV licence advantageous or willingness to pursue with support Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £16.50-£18.00 per hour (GBP); Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
- Hours: 42.5 hours per week; Shift 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)
