Lift Operator
- We are looking for a responsible and reliable Lift Operator to operate and monitor the lift safely and efficiently.
- The successful candidate will assist passengers, ensure proper lift operation, and report any faults or safety concerns promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the lift safely and efficiently.
- Assist passengers when entering and exiting the lift.
- Ensure the lift is kept clean and presentable.
- Monitor the lift for any unusual sounds, faults, or operational issues.
- Report breakdowns, faults, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Ensure passengers comply with lift safety rules.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with passengers.
- Keep simple records of lift usage or reported issues when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Lift Operator, Elevator Operator, or in a similar role is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be attentive, responsible, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to remain calm and helpful when assisting passengers.
- Must be physically fit and able to work flexible hours when required.
