Job title: Lifeguard
About the Role Lifeguard and assist with the operation of the Villanova Pavilion Pool for special events and during Recreational Swim Hours. This student hourly position supports pool safety and operations at the Jake Nevin Field House, with up to 20 hours per week.
What You'll Do
- Lifeguard during special events and Recreational Swim Hours.
- Assist with operation of the Villanova Pavilion Pool.
- Monitor pool activities, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Current Lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.
- Strong swimming ability and the capacity to save a person if needed; may be asked to carry or move objects under 50 lbs.
- Enrollment as a Villanova student; eligibility for work study preferred but open to all students.
- Availability to work up to 20 hours per week; please share your days/times.
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage rate: $15.00 per hour.
- Location: On-site at Villanova Pavilion Pool, Jake Nevin Field House.
