About the Role
Bank of America Life Services Financial Solutions Advisors provide comprehensive financial guidance to clients, helping them achieve goals by planning with brokerage products and banking solutions. This role focuses on educating clients about inheriting assets, delivering tailored advice over the phone, and coordinating with partners to meet client needs while ensuring regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Work with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money management solutions.
- Recommends banking and investments strategies that align with client financial goals and needs.
- Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities.
- Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
- Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended.
- Ensures end-to-end client experience, manages and provides financial advice to assigned clients, enhances client care, retention, and deepening relationships; adheres to internal policies and procedures and completes required training; this position requires SAFE Act registration.
What We're Looking For
- Series 7, and 66 or equivalent (if not currently held, Series 66 must be obtained within 90 days).
- Minimum of 1-2+ years financial advisory or investment experience in financial services or a sales environment with goals.
- Passion for excellence and ability to communicate effectively while engaging all clients.
- Ability to have meaningful, consultative conversations with clients to uncover needs and help them achieve multiple life priorities and goals.
Nice to Have
- Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree (business related discipline strongly preferred), or 1-2 years relevant work experience.
