Are you a skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician who wants to stay in the surgery suite — in a practice that actually feels like a great place to work? Riverwalk Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our surgical team in Ridgeland, SC.

Riverwalk has been part of the Lowcountry community since 2000, and in that time we've built something worth protecting: a close-knit, low-drama team that genuinely supports each other, equipped for surgery and dentistry, and a culture where experienced technicians are trusted and valued. We run daily dentals and soft tissue surgery Monday through Thursday. No weekends. No on-call. Just meaningful work in a warm, collaborative environment where your skills will be fully utilized from day one.

  • Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
  • Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
  • Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
  • Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
  • Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service

Schedule and compensation:

  • Compensation: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour, for each hour worked
  • Schedule: This is a flexible position open to someone full-time or part-time position, with a full time typically offering a 4 x 10 schedule, Monday–Friday. No weekends and no on-call requirements.
