About the Role The Licensed Team Lead at LensCrafters delivers exceptional customer service to ensure customers are delighted and drives store success by overseeing key optical and lab processes. This role combines frontline leadership with optical expertise to provide customers with informed eyewear recommendations and accurate measurements. What You'll Do
- Ensure LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed customer service.
- Proactively apply product knowledge to assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, and support sales associates.
- Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
- If licensed, provide expertise on lens choices based on vision needs and OD prescription; adjust/repair eyewear; present & dispense eyewear; perform accurate digital measurements.
- In the Lab (if applicable), custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
- Collaborate with associates to strengthen knowledge and certification on lens and lab processes.
- Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
- Create a safe working environment and maintain lab tools & systems. What We're Looking For
- HS diploma/GED
- Current & valid state Opticianry license
- Strong optical & retail experience
- Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise
- Strong communicator & listener; strong interpersonal skills
- Strong basic math skills; sales skills; problem solving ability
- Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators
- Leadership & training experience
- Edging & mounting experience
- Basic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience Nice to Have
- State licensure (if applicable) &/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states
- LensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector Certification
- LensCrafters Quality, Fitting & Adjusting Program
- Optical machinery/instruments experience
- Customer service experience
- AccuFit Digital Measurement System certification
- Knowledge of current store merchandise & lens options Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $27.60-$39.02 hourly
