About the Role Cape Fox Concentric Methods, LLC is accepting resumes for a Licensed Practical or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the Family Medicine Clinic to provide full-time services to our Marines at Camp Lejeune, NC. One year of nursing experience (preferably in Family Medicine or Primary Care) in the last two years is preferred. This non-exempt position offers a total hourly pay of $29.22 for up to 40 hours per week (base hourly rate of $24.13 plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards regulations).

What You'll Do

• Provide basic medical care under the direction of registered nurses and doctors.
• Check patients into the clinic and triage using clinic guidelines.
• Inform the nurse, physician extender or physician of the patient’s condition and potential problems.
• Perform a full range of treatment procedures including sterile dressing changes, applying compresses, monitoring IV fluids, inserting catheters and suctions, inserting nasogastric tubes, administering medications, giving enemas, and setting up and using treatment that requires auxiliary equipment such as oxygen and suction.
• Ambulate patients to radiology, physical therapy and other clinics.
• Perform pre-operative procedures for minor surgery and fill out pre-op checklists.
• Assist patients in admission, transfer, discharge planning, and follow-up documentation.
• Support the patient and/or family members toward the achievement of treatment plan goals, provide instructions on invasive procedures, surgical procedures, and post-surgical conditions previously provided by a nurse, physician extender, or physician.
• Ensure timely delivery and proper labeling of medical specimens to lab.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week.

What We're Looking For

• LPN/LVN licensure.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience (preferably in Family Medicine or Primary Care) within the last two years.
• Ability to work under supervision of RNs/MDs and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Experience with triage, patient check-in, pre-operative procedures, discharge planning, and documentation.

Nice to Have

• Computer skills including Microsoft Office.

• Hourly pay: $29.22 for up to 40 hours per week (base $24.13 + $5.09 Health & Welfare per hour).
