About the Role The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient care under the direction of the physician at Bon Secours' Tuckahoe Orthopaedic & Physical Therapy – Henrico. The role supports provider visits by preparing and assessing patients and by observing and reporting responses to care. What You'll Do
- Collaborates with physicians and other health care team members to meet patient and family needs.
- Implements the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
- Properly labels and packages specimens as trained.
- Assists in indirect care through clerical/administrative duties as assigned by the registered nurse.
- Acts as a chaperone for health care providers during patient examinations as requested.
- Assists the provider with procedures, treatments, and interventions.
- Performs other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Active state Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure or LPN applicant.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association.
- One year of clinical patient care experience (preferred, not required).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team.
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn and use a computer-based scheduling and registration system. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $22.02 - $33.04 per hour.
