About the Role The Licensed Practical Nurse provides basic and skilled nursing care to patients under the direction of the RN, NP or Physician, utilizing observational skills and reporting pertinent patient symptoms and/or changes in conditions to the team. What You'll Do
- Provide basic and skilled nursing care to patients under the direction of the RN, NP, or Physician
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Document patient records and ensure accurate charting
- Assist with obtaining vitals, medications, specimens, and patient education as needed What We're Looking For
- Completed practical nursing program
- Active LPN credential from the Louisiana Board of Nursing
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- 1+ year of related experience
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (NextGen preferred)
- Ability to obtain and document vitals, medications, specimens, and patient education
