About the Role Licensed Optician is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, precise eyewear fitting, and accurate prescription placement to support LensCrafters' vision of high-quality eye care. The role blends optical expertise with technology to meet customer needs in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a part-time opportunity at LensCrafters in Manassas, VA, within EssilorLuxottica. What You'll Do
- Welcome all customers, set expectations with customers
- Custom fit glasses & precisely place prescription in lenses
- Act as a leader in optical acumen
- Take & record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail
- Ensure finished eyewear meets standards & customer needs
- Assist team with complex product needs & prescriptions
- Accurate & thorough use of technology despite time pressure & customer volume
- Maintain exceptional product knowledge and use appropriate tools
- Proactive, explores root cause of issues, forward thinking, ensures customers are satisfied & expectations are exceeded
- Solution driven; ability to multi-task, prioritize & manage time with competing priorities
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs & competencies

- High School graduate or equivalent
- State Licensure
- Optical dispensing experience
- Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder
- Knowledge of current store merchandise
- Strong basic math skills
- Awareness of current fashion trends
- Selling skills – ability to use & carry an iPAD/tablet
- Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators

- Previous customer service & retail experience Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $27.60-$39.02 per hour
