This role supports growth and maintains brand standards within the EssilorLuxottica For Eyes network. What You'll Do

• Greet all customers with a warm welcome, exchange names, and set expectations.
• Show urgency in providing service and satisfying customer needs.
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses; take and record measurements; adjust eyewear; ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer requirements.
• Act as a leader in optical knowledge and serve as a voice for associates.
• Attract new customers and explore needs by asking open-ended questions; read verbal/non-verbal cues; review prescriptions and identify special needs.
• Assist co-workers with difficult or complex areas of product needs and prescriptions.
• Utilize store tools and adhere to Brand Store Commitments; perform work accurately using technology even under time pressure.
• Demonstrate product knowledge; describe features/benefits of lenses and frames with appropriate tools; reinforce customers’ final selection.
• Anticipate problems and develop long-term solutions to ensure satisfaction; act quickly for resolution; partner with management as necessary.
• Multitask, prioritize, manage time with competing priorities; commit to delivery date and time; seek feedback and referrals.
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs; present, celebrate, and educate at pick up.
• Maintain store appearance, keep store clean, attractive, and organized; protect company assets.
• Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
• Possess a “can do” spirit; self-motivated with a desire for continual learning and improvement.
• Adhere to company policies & procedures, including discounting, promotions, and inventory management.
• Sells on your feet 80%-100% of the time.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed (e.g., customer calls, dispensing eyewear). What We're Looking For
• High School graduate or equivalent; State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder
• Knowledge of current store merchandise
• Basic math skills
• Awareness of current fashion trends
• Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet
• Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
