Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) – Weekend Only

Spaulding Academy & Family Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our Health Services department for weekend coverage! The LNA plays a critical role in administering prescribed medications to students in residential and school settings in full accordance with medical provider instructions and state regulations. Working under the direct delegation of the Nurse on duty, the LNA provides compassionate care, monitors student well-being, and ensures a safe, dignified environment for our youth.
Requirements

Active State of New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license required.

Minimum of two (2) years of LNA experience required; pediatric experience is helpful but not required.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

CPR certification required (or ability to obtain within six months of hire).

Completion of a state-approved medication administration training course with satisfactory certification.

Physical agility to navigate campus outdoors in all weather conditions, assist students in crisis or escalation, and handle bodily fluid cleanup per health protocols.

Knowledge and Skills

Demonstrated competency in state-approved drug administration and Medication Administration Record (MAR) documentation.

Strong observation and communication skills to promptly report changes in student mental/physical status, vital signs, or medication needs to the duty nurse.

Proven ability to remain calm, flexible, and responsive during potential behavioral crises or volatile situations.

Exceptional customer service skills when interacting with students, families, team members, and external stakeholders while preserving student privacy and dignity.
