Summary The Concord Endoscopy Center (CEC) LNA provides direct and indirect patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the registered nurse. The CEC LNA assists the physician and registered nurse during endoscopy procedures and is responsible for the care and processing of associated endoscopy equipment. The CEC LNA may perform direct patient care including ADLs, assisting with transport of patients through the continuum of patient care, perform treatments and procedures under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse. The CEC LNA may provide patient support systems with additional training such as clerical/registration support, data entry, and capillary glucose testing.
