About the Role
The New Hampshire Veterans Home is hiring Licensed Nursing Assistants I–III (LNA I–III / LMNAs). These roles provide essential direct care to residents, assist with daily living activities, monitor health conditions, and help maintain a safe, clean, and enriching environment. Multiple positions and shifts are available, including full-time 2nd and 3rd shifts, with every other weekend. What You'll Do

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility) under supervision of licensed nursing staff

Monitor health conditions and report changes

Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment; support quality of life for NH Veterans

For LNA II: mentor new nursing assistants

For LNA III: mentor/instruct, suggest care improvements, and provide more independent support under general oversight What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent; NH Nursing Assistant license; driver’s license

May be required to work non-traditional hours; physical stamina for prolonged standing and lifting/transferring residents and materials

Trainee option available for candidates without NH Nursing Assistant license or high school diploma, with adjusted responsibilities

Additional qualifications: CPR and First Aid certification; experience in long-term or geriatric care; strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Nice to Have

Base pay: $19.24 – $34.32 per hour

Additional hourly differentials: $4.00 (2nd shift), $7.00 (3rd shift), $2.00 (weekends)

Direct care differential up to $10.00/week
