What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will lead complex productivity and cost-reduction projects across multiple HyCO sites using Lean Six Sigma and project management tools
  • Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement regional and national productivity initiatives
  • Build and manage a portfolio of projects to meet annual financial and productivity targets, prioritizing based on expected benefits and execution effort
  • Further, you will identify opportunities to improve plant and product line KPIs, reduce costs, optimize capital projects, and increase plant profitability
  • Monitor implemented projects, drive best practices across HyCO sites, and maximize project benefits
  • Develop and implement tools, technologies, and strategies to improve site performance and productivity
  • Quantify financial benefits using appropriate metrics and partner with Finance to validate and accurately report results
  • Translate strategic business priorities into actionable plans and align with regional business and operations management on priorities and support
  • And you will solve complex operational problems and develop innovative solutions through brainstorming, Lean events, and stakeholder engagement
  • Lead cross-functional project teams across multiple sites or regions and provide coaching on productivity tools, projects, and troubleshooting
  • Drive change and successful implementation of productivity initiatives

What makes you great

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemicaleEngineering, or a graduate degree in a field of science
  • Five (5+) years of engineering experience in reliability, maintenance, production, or projects within the chemical, industrial gases, or refining industries
  • Technical knowledge of HyCO operations, maintenance standards, predictive technologies, and best practices
  • Experience with process monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • You have strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and priorities, and lead and influence teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Project management experience and Green Belt training or certification preferred
