About the Role Level One Tapping Machine Operator works under direct supervision performing basic tapping operations with entry-level machine attending and inspection tasks. The role requires adherence to PPE and safety guidelines while maintaining quality through basic visual and functional inspections.
What You'll Do
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines (PPE and equipment interaction)
- Basic loading/unloading of product
- In-process inspection (visual & functional, recording)
- Visual management of machine (taps, etc.)
- Production paperwork/operation audit
- Use Go/No-Go gauges and thread gauges for inspection
- Read and write English to document results
What We're Looking For
- Ability to read and write English
- Willingness to learn and follow supervisor guidance
- Basic tapping operations knowledge
- Familiarity with Go/No-Go gauges and thread gauges
- Basic machine attending and inspection skills
- Visual inspection capability
- Commitment to safety and PPE usage
