About this role

Job title: Lettings Negotiator

Our Vacancy

What you'll do

  • As a Lettings Negotiator, you'll manage the marketing and letting of Peabody’s Market Rent, Intermediate Rent and Keyworker homes, taking properties from enquiry through to tenancy sign-up. You'll deliver a great customer experience while minimising void periods, maximising rental income and ensuring all lettings are completed efficiently and compliantly.

  • Working closely with internal teams, local authorities and nomination partners, you'll manage property advertising, viewings, applicant assessments, affordability checks and tenancy progression. You'll also help reduce key-to-key times, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with relevant requirements and contribute to continuous improvements across the lettings service.

  • What you'll need

  • Experience working in lettings, ideally within a housing association, estate agency or private rented sector environment.

  • Experience advertising properties and managing enquiries across multiple online platforms such as Zoopla, SpareRoom and similar channels.

  • Knowledge of intermediate rent, market rent products and nomination processes with local authorities or partner organisations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong customer focus with a proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering positive outcomes.

  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to compliance, including affordability assessments and regulatory requirements.

  • Willingness to undertake a relevant Property Management qualification.
