Job title: Leiter Einkauf SBS Cabin Monuments

About the Role Taking end-to-end responsibility for the SBS Cabin Monuments purchasing area, including operational oversight of the external supply chain and leadership of the Lavatories and Compartments categories as well as international procurement teams in Hamburg, Hungary, and Laupheim. Driving strategic development of the purchasing organization and optimization of global supply-chain activities (Germany, Hungary, Mexico/USA). Developing and implementing category strategies for Cabin Monuments.

What You'll Do

  • Assume overall ownership of the SBS Cabin Monuments purchasing area and lead the teams at Hamburg, Hungary, and Laupheim, including Lavatories and Compartments category management.
  • Shape the strategic direction of the SBS Cabin Monuments procurement organization and drive optimization of international supply-chain activities (Germany, Hungary, Mexico/USA).
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve category strategies for Cabin Monuments.
  • Manage tendering processes, contract design/negotiation/optimization, price/terms negotiations and central terms; lead project management for new purchase components.
  • Manage a purchasing volume >€180 million per year; maintain and advance strategic supplier relationships, execute Transfers of Work, Design to Cost initiatives and component standardization.

What We're Looking For

  • More than 10 years of experience in operational and strategic procurement, with several years of leadership, ideally in an international environment.
  • Technical or economic degree or equivalent qualification; fluent German and English; French and Spanish beneficial. High willingness to travel internationally.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to recognize trends early; able to work operationally, conceptually and strategically, deriving clear actions.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrable success in contract and supplier management; high assertiveness and decision-making ability under time and cost pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to enable and develop teams; integrity, reflexivity and leadership by example.

Nice to Have

  • French and Spanish language skills are advantageous.
