Job Summary

A law firm is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to oversee its day-to-day business operations, strengthen internal systems, and support continued growth. This role manages finance, people, technology, and administrative processes so attorneys and paralegals can focus on client work.

What You’ll Do

Oversee daily firm operations, coordinating administrative functions and keeping priorities on track

Identify workflow bottlenecks, develop standard operating procedures, and implement processes that support growth

Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, capital expenditures, and vendor invoice review

Oversee timekeeping and billing processes to support accurate reporting and efficient workflows

Coordinate human resources functions, improve hiring workflows, and develop staff training procedures

Lead and mentor support staff, establish performance goals, and promote accountability

Evaluate and implement practice management, document management, and AI tools to improve efficiency

Manage vendor relationships and technology procurement

Coordinate data privacy, security, and operational compliance efforts

Lead projects and guide teams through process and technology changes

What You Bring
-
5+ years of operations management or business operations leadership experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field

Advanced degree, such as an MBA or JD, preferred

Experience overseeing financial processes, people, technology, and administrative operations

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
-
Proficiency with legal practice management and document management systems, such as Clio and Sage Timeslips

Familiarity with Asana for project management
