Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts, ensuring accuracy and legal protection.
Oversee due diligence, risk reporting, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders and support dispute and litigation management.
Participate in client onboarding meetings to ensure legal alignment.
Maintain a turnaround time of less than 24 hours for document reviews without compromising quality.

Qualifications

LL.B from a recognised university.
Barrister-at-Law (B.L) qualification and membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a corporate startup environment; law firm or legal consulting backgrounds are not preferred.
Strong contract management, legal research, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in collaborative tools such as Google Drive and CRM systems.
Ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical business procedures.
High attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
