Overview
EISS is seeking a tech-savvy Legal Officer to manage commercial contracts, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and legal advisory while supporting client onboarding and business operations.

- Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
- Compensation: ₦250,000 gross monthly
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts, ensuring accuracy and legal protection.
- Oversee due diligence, risk reporting, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders and support dispute and litigation management.
- Participate in client onboarding meetings to ensure legal alignment.
- Maintain a turnaround time of less than 24 hours for document reviews without compromising quality.
Requirements
- LL.B from a recognised university.
- Barrister-at-Law (B.L) qualification and membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a corporate startup environment; law firm or legal consulting backgrounds are not preferred.
- Strong contract management, legal research, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in collaborative tools such as Google Drive and CRM systems.
- Ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical business procedures.
- High attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
