About the team/role
We are looking for a proactive, organized and detail-oriented Legal Intern to provide support to our Legal Team in the CASA region, in particular covering Peru, Chile and Argentina.
This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic legal team within a fast-paced technology company, supporting in day-to-day in cross-border legal matters such as the evaluation of new initiatives and products, marketing campaigns and communications, legal complaints (consumer protection and law enforcement), and participating in various cross-functional business projects.

Investigating local and foreign regulation related to digital platforms, data privacy, consumer protection and others relevant to the business operations.

Providing support in consumer protection cases, working closely with internal teams and external legal advisors.

Drafting and reviewing Terms & Conditions for campaigns, promotions, products and services.

Reviewing business communications and providing legal support to different internal areas, including Growth, Operations, Marketing, PR and other cross-functional teams.

Reviewing, drafting and revising legal documents.

Assisting with the administration, organization and control of corporate documentation.

Supporting the monitoring of legal processes, deadlines and internal trackers.

Organizing and maintaining legal databases and filing systems, ensuring that relevant documents and information are kept updated.

Supporting the CASA Legal Team in regional projects and internal legal initiatives.

Active undergraduate Law studies with 12-24 months left to graduate.

Previous experience in law firms and/or in-house legal departments. Experience in consumer protection or corporate are a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.

Strong attention to detail, organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to work effectively in a regional and cross-functional team environment.

Interest in technology, mobility platforms, consumer protection, data privacy and regulatory matters.
