About the Role Abercrombie & Fitch Co is seeking a Legal Intern in Shanghai to support the Legal Department with legal research, compliance investigations, translations, drafting and reviewing basic legal documents, and internal training. This is a long-term part-time internship with a start date in July preferred.
What You'll Do
- Assist with legal research including statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Assist with corporate compliance investigations and related tasks.
- Assist in Chinese-English and English-Chinese translation.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing basic legal documents.
- Assist in organizing internal legal training sessions.
- Organize and archive documents and invoices.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the department.
What We're Looking For
- Law undergraduates (junior or senior) or postgraduate students; postgraduate candidates are preferred (no full-time conversion opportunity).
- Solid knowledge of fundamental legal principles, with strong legal research skills and independent thinking ability; passing the PRC Legal Professional Qualification Examination is a plus.
- CET-6 or above; strong English writing skills required.
- Detail-oriented and patient; prior legal internship or work experience and interest in retail legal work are preferred.
- Full-time availability from Monday to Thursday is preferred.
- Long-term internship (six months or longer is ideal).
Nice to Have
- Interest in retail industry legal work.
Compensation & Benefits
- RMB 28 per hour, 8 working hours per day. Snacks and beverages are provided in the office from time to time.
