About the Role Western Digital is seeking a legal professional to provide strategic support to its treasury and finance functions. This role will help evaluate and negotiate financing transactions, manage day-to-day treasury activities, and ensure compliance with debt covenants and securities filings as the company scales its storage technologies for AI and hyperscale data centers. What You'll Do
- Provide legal support to treasury and finance functions, including large financing transactions and day-to-day activities.
- Evaluate, advise on, and handle a wide variety of financing transactions, including debt and equity offerings, bank financings, sale-and-leaseback transactions and other structured financing transactions.
- Review and negotiate documentation for treasury activities on a regular basis, including factoring arrangements and hedging activities.
- Track and support compliance with covenants in debt documents, including by assisting with debt document interpretation.
- Assist in the preparation and review of securities filings: periodic and current reports, proxy statements, registration statements, Form SD. What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree and active legal license to practice.
- Experience advising on corporate financing transactions, including debt and equity offerings and bank financings.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to review complex debt and securities documents.
- Ability to interpret debt covenants and coordinate cross-functionally with treasury, finance, and compliance teams.
- Excellent communication and project-management skills with ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
