About the Role P&G India seeks an experienced attorney (preferably a qualified company secretary) to provide legal advice across commercial, advertising, pharma, competition, labour, industrial and environmental laws, with dispute management for the Indian sub-continent. The role is based in Mumbai and will partner with multiple functions to enable business growth while maintaining high ethical standards. What You'll Do
- Provide guidance on industry-specific laws, ethical promotions, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Draft, vet, negotiate, and execute all commercial contracts and agreements across the business and business development.
- Advise on marketing initiatives, advertising, product communication, and promotions to different business units.
- Support Intellectual Property matters and go-to-market strategies.
- Support business development through negotiation and execution of documents.
- Implement processes, policies, and training related to FCPA/Anti-Bribery and Competition laws.
- Collaborate with Government Relations, and partner with Medical, Regulatory, HR, Sales, Marketing, Distribution, and R&D on legal issues.
- Manage disputes across various forums and coordinate with external counsel as required. What We're Looking For
- 3-7 years of experience in a reputable law firm or in the legal department of a large multinational corporation in pharma/FMCG industry (preferred).
- Strong commercial contracting, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience advising on marketing/advertising and managing disputes (preferred).
- Forward-thinking, strategic, and proactive leadership with high integrity and strong communication.
- Ability to operate independently and drive results. Nice to Have
