YOUR IMPACT You won't be stuck in maintenance mode. At Ateko, you'll work on strategic, high-impact projects to maximize value for our clients in the technology industry. Your success will be measured by proactive risk management, delivering quality legal advice and contracts within the required deadlines, maintaining the organization’s compliance and effectively supporting the company’s strategic projects.

YOUR TEAM We hire top-tier talent and give them the space to shine. You'll collaborate with management, business units, delivery teams, clients, partners and legal advisors under the leadership of the Vice President, Legal Affairs. No egos, just smart people solving complex problems together with the mission of to protect the company's interests by providing strategic legal support, ensuring compliance of its activities, and contributing to proactive risk management related to its operations and growth.

WHAT TO EXPECT Your day to day will look like this:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts and other legal documents, including professional services, confidentiality, employment, information technology contracts, etc.
• Advising various departments on any legal matters, issuing legal opinions, and collaborating, as needed, with external advisors.
• Developing standard contracts, policies, and procedures as needed by the company.
• Analyzing, interpreting, and monitoring changes in applicable legislation and regulation.

THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR The following experience will help you succeed in this role. However, if you don't meet all these criteria, we will be happy to consider your application, because we're looking for potential first.

• Member of the Bar of Quebec or another Canadian province.
• Bilingual (French and English).
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, particularly in information technology.
• Excellent ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate autonomy, rigor, and judgment.
• Have a strong sense of priorities.
• Be able to identify risks and propose legal solutions that support business objectives.
• Excellent skills in popularization and communication.
• If English required: "English is required to communicate with clients and partners located outside of Quebec."
• Previous experience as an in-house legal advisor, knowledge of the applicable legal framework in information technology law, intellectual property, personal information protection, and labor law are assets.
