About this role

About the Role The Legal Counsel ensures the company’s legal security and handles all legal matters from a commercial, tax and social perspective, safeguarding the company’s interests across distribution, competition, contracts and compliance. Based on the Beauvais campus, the role involves advising and supporting operational teams on regulatory compliance and business needs. What You'll Do

  • Internal support on distribution, competition and the company’s distribution networks; assist with resolving disputes related to distribution agreements, their performance and development.
  • Manage litigation matters relating to distribution contracts, with or without external counsel, and monitor procedural timelines.
  • Support all compliance-related matters (anti-corruption, GDPR, CSR, ethics), respond to operational teams’ queries, and contribute to implementing and monitoring compliance programmes.
  • Support and analysis of contracts; advisory role to operational teams; drafting of agreements and contracts; provide recommendations to reconcile regulatory compliance with operational needs.
  • Provide ongoing regulatory and legal guidance to ensure proper application of regulations within areas of responsibility. What We're Looking For
  • Master’s degree (Master 1 or 2) in Business Law and compliance; a specialization in distribution and competition law would be an advantage.
  • Professional experience in business law and applicable regulations (preferably in distribution law, competition law, commercial law) and compliance.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication abilities, rigor and responsiveness; strong analytical and synthesis capabilities; ability to work effectively in a team. Nice to Have
  • Specialization in distribution and competition law would be an advantage. Compensation & Benefits
