Job Type Full Time, Onsite Qualification Others Experience 3 - 6 years Location Nairobi Job Field Legal and Regulatory Salary Range KSh 150,000 - KSh 200,000/month

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Pharma Compliance (Critical)

• Handle PPB licensing, retention, GMP compliance, premises licenses, manufacturing & import/export licenses

• Liaise with Pharmacy & Poisons Board, KEBs, KEBS, NEMA, KRA Customs

• Advise on WHO-GMP, USFDA, EMA documentation from a legal standpoint

• Manage product registration dossiers, IP, trademarks for brands

• Corporate & Board Affairs

• Company secretary support: board papers, resolutions, annual returns at Registrar of Companies

• Maintain statutory registers, shareholding, CR12s, compliance calendar

• Advise board on Companies Act 2015, governance, risk

• Contracts & Commercial

• Draft, review, negotiate: distributor agreements, supplier/SRMAs, loan docs, lease (Kitisuru plant), NDAs, employment contracts

• Vendor claims, debt recovery, distributor defaults

• Labor law: handle disciplinary hearings, HR legal issues

• Litigation & External Counsel

• Manage external lawyers, reduce legal spend

• Represent company in disputes, KRA tribunals, PPB matters

• Maintain litigation tracker & provision advice to Finance

• Compliance & Risk

• Build compliance framework: SOPs, code of conduct, anti-bribery, data protection (ODPC Act)

• Whistleblower policy, training for staff on regulatory changes

• The salary range for the position is KES 200000-250000

Education and skills:

• LLB/ LLM
• Certifications in Regulatory Compliance with exposure in the healthcare industry will be preferred
